More About Me

I’ve been writing stories since elementary school, heavily influenced by mysteries. Somewhere in elementary school, I got into anime, but I think it was later that I started writing fanfic; I drew a lot of fanart, in the meantime. Definitely by high school, Kpop had me by the throat, and no one I knew was into it, so I spent a lot of time online and eventually fell into EXO. I've not crawled out of that hole since. It's been years. My ideal story to read and write is something cute and with little-to-no drama, but there's a special place in my heart for horror stories. If no else will write them, I will.

What I Write

Some of my favorite things to write are plotless fluff and minimal conflict, pets and animals, settings/physical environments, and horror. (One of these things is not like the others~)And while I don't read nearly as much as I'd like or as I used to, I enjoy reading the same things I write, but I'm open to just about anything. It's simpler to say what I don't particularly enjoy, because it applies to reading and writing: pwp, traditional a/b/o, mpreg. I've tried writing smut; I'm too doggone awkward. It becomes comedy. I don't see the appeal of ABO but have written my own interpretation a couple times. My general rule of thumb is to be open to anything once. If I don't like it, I won't read or write it.

Fun Facts

- My three favorite punctuation marks: em dash (—), interrobang (‽), and the Oxford comma.
- Most animals and pets I write are based on animals I've met. For years, I worked at a doggie daycare and then a pet store.
- I don’t outline my stories and just write whatever comes to me, so I'll typically have a bunch of scenes that need some filler to be complete.
